The route is fairly flat with the exception of one steep hill. The route follows tarmac paths.
The walk is part of Highway to Health walking routes - a series of waymarked walking routes throughout Northern Ireland.
There is no charge for walk, however there is a £2.00 fee for car parking.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times in the Country Park.

I went to Loughgall last autumn the weather was a mixed Bag of blustry showers and sunny intervals we did the whole 3 trails and at the end we saved the Orchard trail till Last also there was Plenty of apples lying around so it was apple pies for the Winter warmers and an end to a Lovely Walk we will be going back Next sunday and we hope the apple blossoms will be out with the lagan valley Ramblers club
