One feedback comment has been left by a reader about Killynether Wood:
I lived for 30 years in Dundonald, and walked regularly in Killynether. Loved every inch of it and so did my succession of dogs. There is a path that rises very steeply and the trees stand out against the sky - at the bottom of the path is a large anvil shaped stone, and in imagination I pictured C.S. Lewis finding his setting for Aslan's stone and the walking trees. Magic place, and the view from the top of Scrabo Tower on a good clear day is breath taking - can't you just see the Viking ships sailing down the lough!
