"Stonechat" and "Cuckoo's Nest" are two self-catering cottages set in 56+ acres of unspoilt Irish countryside that offer an ideal base for those wishing to explore the Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope Bridge. In the other direction, beyond the town of Ballycastle, lie the beautiful Glens of Antrim, home to Glenariff, which has a beautiful hike through a wooded pathway surrounded by waterfalls. Within the grounds of Crockatinney is a 19th Century Famine Graveyard - the final resting place of those who died at the Ballycastle workhouse during the famine years. Kinbane Castle, an often undiscovered hidden gem is also within walking distance. There are also a number of beautiful beaches within driving distance, including White Rocks and Whitepark Bay. Tired from a day’s exploring, guests can return to the comfort of their own cottage and relax in the peaceful and quiet surroundings by the heat of a traditional turf fire. Parking is private and well-behaved dogs are welcome!
