Mourne Coast Cottage is the perfect location for an energetic walking holiday or for a relaxing break just taking in the mountainous scenery and sea views. Situated on the coast road 2 miles from Newcastle its only 2 min walk to the Bloody Bridge entrance to the Mountains of Mourne. This is also the start of the famous brandy pad trek through the mountains and the river is perfect for bouldering or pool dips. Slieve Donard looms overhead and across the road is the start of the Mourne Coastal path. A Mourne Rambler bus service stop is just outside. Golf courses, fishing spots, water sports, forest parks, busy harbours, and sandy beaches are all close by with plenty of restaurants, bars and amusement arcades along Newcastle’s bustling promenade. Guest accommodation includes two bedrooms (sleeps 5), dining room with open fire, living room, kitchen, bathroom, front and rear gardens with sea and mountain views, our donkey in the field for company and you can even bring your dog.
