Boots N' Bogs Walking Festival

DetailsThis walking festival is based in the beautiful Clogher Valley in South Tyrone and the Sliabh Beagh Hills of North Monaghan.

Knockatallon and Clogher Valley Rambling clubs have put together this cross-border, two-centre festival. The Saturday includes a variety of walks through the lush green landscape and forests.

The Sunday allows you to explore the bogs and bye-ways of the starkly beautiful Sliagh Beagh Hill. Here you will find one of the finest examples of blanket bog in Ireland.

You may decide to walk one day or two, the choice is yours. All walks with be guided by competent leaders and light refreshments provided after event. It is recommended to book, cost £7 for one day or £10 for two days. Part- Funding for this event has been kindly received by Monaghan County Council.
