Bangor Aurora Nordic Walking club meets every Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 - 2:30. The club normally leaves from Bangor Aurora and Nordic walk around Castle Park and the surrounding areas.

Nordic walking is a safe and sociable whole body activity which burns up to 46% more calories than normal walking. It’s great for losing weight, toning up and improving posture and walks are led by qualified coaches. We welcome all levels of ability and experience.

The club's year is divided into two seasons:

Belfast CHA Rambling Club (Countrywide Holidays Association)

We walk every Saturday (except for holidays).. We nearly always use public transport. Our club is especially suitable for over-50s. The walks are not too strenuous. We go to places all over Northern Ireland. In the winter months October to March we walk within a 15-mile radius of Belfast. Walks are between 3-5 miles in Winter and 5-8 miles in Summer.

Belfast Hills Walking Dynamos

The Belfast Hills Walking Dynamos is a friendly adult hill walking group in Belfast. We walk Cave Hill, Carnmoney, Slievenacloy, Divis and Black Mountain.

In spring and summer we go farther for days out - usually on Saturdays. We also have short weekday evening walks around the hills in spring and summer.

You don't have to be superfit to join us.

You must be 18 to join. It costs £10 a year to join. Each walk then usually costs £1. Non members and guests pay £5 for each walk.

Cloney Rural Development Association Walking Group

Walking club meets every Monday at 10.45am in the car park in Ahoghill. Walks are mainly local and last between 45-60 minutes. Occasionally we hire a minibus to go to more distant places, either coastal or woodland, for walks.

Gap o The North Walking Club

We walk every second Sunday starting from the Gap o' the North pub in Jonesborough at 10am. There is a strong local focus on the Cooleys and the Ring of Gullion with occasional trips to the Mournes and further afield.
