About the Event

UFRC are bringing together a number of speakers with a variety of interests. The Spring Meeting will focus on the organisations and schemes which are there to help improve and manage the countryside enjoyed by so many.

10:00 - Welcome and Introduction

10:15 - Michael Donnelly from NI Water will be discussing the organisation’s recent project restoring the Mourne Wall.

10:45 - Jodie-Ann McAneaney will provide information on the Live Here Love Here grant scheme run by Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful.

11:15 - Tea and Coffee break

11:30 - Dr. Jim Bradley from Belfast Hills Partnership will be at hand to provide an insight into access and enjoyment across the Hills.

12:00 - Questions and Discussion

12:30 - Lunch

After lunch there is an optional walk around Oxford Island which will be lead by Declan Moane from Armagh Rambling Club.
