About the Event

Walk off your Sunday lunch with this guided walk for the whole family, looking at the general history and wildlife of parks along the Connswater Community Greenway. The walk begins at 2:30.

Finishing up in Orangefield Park discover the rich biodiversity to be found along the Knock River. Along the route walk through Dixon Playing fields. The area has been immortalised in the songs of Van Morrison and even has a bridge said to have been used by the last Irish chieftain Con O'Neill.

The walk will be led by Robert Scott author of A Breath of Fresh Air and former conservation and education officer at Belfast City Council.
