The Ulster Federation of Rambling Clubs (UFRC) Committee invite you to attend the first UFRC Spring Gathering to be held in Greenmount College, Co. Antrim on Saturday 4th March 2017.
An inspirational talk will be made by Hannah Shields, the first Irish woman to summit Mt. Everest in 2007. Find out more about her in her interview with WalkNI- ‘The Iron Lady’. Following lunch the Committee have arranged a number of action packed workshops for you to choose from.
Time: 9:00am to 4:30pm

There will be 4 workshops to choose from. To help plan for numbers it is essential that you select 1 interactive workshop to attend in the afternoon.
Workshop 1: Promoting and marketing your club (1.5hrs) & Beyond the Compass- New Technologies (1.5hrs)
Workshop 2: Keeping safe if things go wrong on the hill (1.5hrs) & Geocaching (1.5hrs)
Workshop 3: Introduction to Navigation (3hrs)
Workshop 4: First Aid (3hrs)
