For those wishing to walk part of the Ulster Way or indeed break it up into sections, we suggest the above highlights as a great place to start. Walk them in their own right over a weekend or join adjoining sections together to create a weeks worth of walking, all of the sections highlighted above offer some fantastic walking with accommodation available nearby.

Lecale Way: Note if walking the Lecale Way as part of the Ulster Way it starts in Strangford and ends in Newcastle, a total of 34 miles, however there is also the option to start the route in Downpatrick ending in Newcastle, a total of 47 miles.
