The main characteristic of Irish weather is its variability. The weather is a daily topic of conversation in Northern Ireland, where the term ‘four seasons in one day’ is often used so it is advisable to carry waterproofs at virtually all times. Having a maritime climate the average temperature range is small, never too hot or too cold, making it ideal for walking at any time of the year.
