Beautiful area, however, any attempt to enjoy a descent walk was marred by the constant flow of speeding cyclists. Whether single or multple, rarely did any slow down or give way as per the tow path regs. Not recommended to take children unless you have eyes everywhere for that reason. No need to comment on the dog poo, as it would seem NI has an epidemic of people who 'I'll let my dog off the lead and then completely ignore what they do' syndrome!

I joined the towpath from the McIlroy Park. Park is lovely facility; clean and disabled friendly. Park in grounds of Drumbo dog racing track. Easy access from Park to towpath. Unfortunately, littering and especially dog poo on the towpath was a problem on the day I walked
