This urban walk is part of the Highway to Health Scheme - a simple and innovative scheme which aims to encourage people of all ages to walk for leisure and good health. It uses pole signs at one kilometre intervals on an established route.

Leaving from outside the Roe Valley Leisure Centre on Greystone Road, turn right and continue to walk straight along the Greystone Road until you reach the Broad Road. Here, follow the Broad Road round until you come to the Rathmore Road, passing the showgrounds. Turn left at Church Street onto the Scroggy Road and walk towards the roundabout, passing the Roe Valley Hospital. Turn right and you will be back at the Leisure Centre.
