Route Description

Park either opposite the church or in Seskinore Forest. The walk then follows forest tracks through the forest past the courtyard and stable block. It then skirts the edge of the forest, through surrounding farmland. There is a choice of return route giving a distance of 2.8 or 3.6 miles. Alternatively the two routes can be combined to give a total distance of 4.5 miles.

These walks are situated in a working forest environment and may be subject to diversion and closure from time to time.

Seskinore Forest is owned by Forest Service NI and as such members of the public are allowed access to the whole forest on foot. Any of the routes available in the forest are potential walking routes.

Potentially a great walk if you could work out where the routes are! A map and some pointers would have helped when I visited:

At all times of the year it is a beautiful walk. Each season has its identifying flora.
