This short walk can be started from the car parks situated at either end of the glen. The walk along the edge of the glen is pretty and easy walking.

Route Description

From either car park follow the path along the glen and back along the other side to the car park. There is an option to take a high level path to a lookout point for great views of the surrounding countryside.

Getting to the Start (by Car)

Follow the brown tourist signs off the main Dungannon to Ballygawley Rd (A4). The car parks are approx. 1 and 3 miles from the main road.


Dogs are allowed. Dogs must be kept on leads.

Lovely walk at this time of year with the leaves starting to turn and blackberries and hazel nuts in abundance.

Needs care if you have children with you though as some of the paths are narrow with steep drops

I recently was on this route and it is not safe at the moment , as there is quite a big tree blown across the Path and

I see that parts of the path are in need of repair and when I visited this walk before I could have given it a higher rating but not this time

Be very careful with children as paths are quite narrow with dangerous drops!
