Route Description

From the Bush picnic area and car park follow the Ballinlea Road to its junction with the Livery Road. Turning right, the walk is signposted along the Livery Road. Continue along this road until you reach the small accommodation bridge over the River Bush, turn right onto the Gracehill Road then right onto the Fivey Road which takes you back into Stranocum village.

Getting to the Start

From the A26 take the Kirk Road signposted for Stranocum Village. Car parking is available at the Bush Picnic Area adjacent to Stranocum bridge.

Just the same as 2009 comment, not much in the way of way marks and if you park in the carpark you have no idea of the existence of a walk until you drive out of the village (of course that's dependant on what direction you are travelling in!)

Enjoyed this walk on Thursday last, 8th. two things might help, 1, carpark and picnic area not clearly marked. 2. walk not signposted except at either end of bridgeway itself. Clearer waymarks would entice tourists exploring the area as well as those lucky enough to have found a map. We intend to try the others also.
