From car park on Derryyork Rd next to New Bridge follow the river bank north past disabled fishing stands to come to a footbridge. Cross the Bovevagh River and continue along the bank for 1 km then take a sharp left turn onto a farm lane. Continue to meet Straw Road turning left to return to Burnfoot.
In Burnfoot village you can turn left at the football opitch to return to the car park via the riverbank or continue to the junction of Derryork Road and return to the car park.

Easy access from main Belfast to Londonderry road turn off up drumrane road just outside dungiven.
