  • This is a link section following public roads however it is not as bad as it sounds. The roads from Castlerock to Coleraine are quiet and the A2 from Coleraine to Portstewart has a pavement so you are not at any risk. In addition Coleraine has a pleasant pedestrianised centre and good transport links. As you approach Portstewart you leave the main A2 for a very attractive circuit by the sea with a beach then rocks beneath you.
