This urban walk is part of the Highway to Health Scheme – a simple and innovative scheme which aims to encourage people of all ages to walk for leisure and good health. It uses pole signs at one kilometre intervals on an established route.

Route Type Highway to Health, Urban
Starting at the corner of Fairhill Road and James Street, walk south along Loy Street onto Church Street. Here turn right onto the Drum Road and follow it for a short distance before turning right onto Wetland Road South. Continue along here past Cemetery Road until you reach Fairhill Road. Here turn right and return to your starting point.
The walk can be accessed anywhere along the routes and can be walked in either direction.
