Highway to Health, Enniskillen Island Walk
This urban walk is part of the Highway to Health Scheme – a simple and innovative scheme which aims to encourage people of all ages to walk for leisure and good health. It uses pole signs at one kilometre intervals on an established route.

The Island walk commences at the Lakeland Forum, travels East along the bank of the Erne, along Wellington Road, looping under and then through Car Park to Queen Elizabeth Road. It passes the PSNI Station, travels up Queen Street and goes under Castle Bridge at Enniskillen Castle returning to the Forum by Broadmeadow. Walk measures 2.43 km
This route can be started at any point along the route and walked in either direction.
