Highway to Health, Larne Walk 1
This is a signed walk starting at Larne Leisure Centre, along the Promenade, turning back to Glenarm Road and circling round again. Dogs to be kept on a lead.
This urban walk is part of the Highway to Health Scheme – a simple and innovative scheme which aims to encourage people of all ages to walk for leisure and good health. It uses pole signs at one kilometre intervals on an established route.

This walk is measured from Larne Leisure Centre and is 3.72 km. It proceeds along the Promenade, turns back into the town along Glenarm Road and returns to the Leisure Centre via Curran Road, Bay Road and Chaine Memorial Road.
Views of the coast and North Channel. Promenade fitness trail. Carnfunnock Country Park.
Parking available adjacent to Larne Leisure Centre.

Toilets at Agnew Street and Narrow Gauge Road, Larne and Carnfunnock Country Park. Refreshments available in the Prom Cafe within the Leisure Centre, cafes in Larne town and at Carnfunnock Country Park from mid March to September and weekends in October.
