Highway to Health, Mater Hospital, The Library Walk
This urban walk is part of the Highway to Health Scheme – a simple and innovative scheme which aims to encourage people of all ages to walk for leisure and good health. It uses pole signs at one kilometre intervals on an established route.
This walk around the Mater Hospital area is to aid health promotion to staff, patients and visitors

Leaving from the McAuley building, go out to the Crumlin Road and turn left. Walk straight through Carlisle Circus and onto Clifton Street. At Donegall Street, turn onto Royal Avenue, then right again onto Library Street and then to Little Donegall Street. Continue Straight to Carrick Hill, turning left back onto Clifton Street and returning back to the Mater.

Start at the main door of the McAuley Building of the Mater Hospital.
