Lough Eske Loop Famine Pot Walk

(0 reviews)

The Lough Eske Famine Pot is located a short distance from Ardnamona Woods. There is a car park, an easy short walk and picnic area here along with the Famine Pot, which is housed in a small, protective stone structure. The Famine Pot dates from the Irish Famine (1845-1852) and was used to cook basic food for the starving.
