Portglenone Forest Walk
This is a truly beautiful walk with gorgeous swayths of Bluebells and Ramsons in May. Large mature trees are everywhere and the river and ponds just add to the beauty. An hour and was plenty of time to stroll around most of the main paths which makes the ‘all day’ parking of £4.00 quite ridiculous. A pity because I’d happily have paid less for a couple of hours and returned regularly. As it is I’ll probably not go back more than once a year in spring.
Lovely forest and bluebells. But very disappointed that especially after you have to pay £4 to park , the route markers aren’t even on the posts. Highly frustrating when you’ve a 5 years old with you and you end up walking round in circles trying to find carpark!!!
A very nice walk in a very nice forest. It would be nice if the route markers were replaced
